The City of Folsom is seeking the community's feedback on the Historic District Connectivity Project. The proposed project is a Safe Routes to School project which will focus on installing continuous sidewalks and bicycle facilities on Riley Street and Dean Way. On Riley Street, the project would connect Sutter Middle School to Sutter Street. The project would also connect Sutter Middle School to Theodore Judah Elementary School along Dean Way.

The city will host a project open house Wednesday, May 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. to discuss the project with the community. Please join us at anytime during the open house to meet with the project team to ask questions, view preliminary project graphics, and give feedback. Children are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be available.

We also invite residents to take a quick online survey no later than June 3, 2022. The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and gives you the opportunity to share your thoughts on how comfortable you are walking and biking in the area, drop map markers to specifically identify areas of concern, and provide general comments.

Your feedback is important because it will help shape this project and increase the connectivity and safety of the Historic District.
