At 10:01 p.m. on August 17, firefighters from the Folsom Fire Department with assistance from Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District responded to a structure fire in a residential home located on Hardrock Ct. in Folsom.  A total of five engine companies, two truck companies, one paramedic ambulance, and two chief officers were dispatched to the scene. All occupants safely evacuated before the arrival of firefighters. The cause of the fire was determined to have started in the attic of the home and the exact cause is under investigation. No injuries were reported. The interior of the home along with the contents were mostly undamaged, due to the firefighters’ efforts to protect as much property as possible.
