Heavy rain has caused localized flooding in multiple areas throughout Folsom. The following streets are closed:
- Folsom Boulevard, between Parkshore Drive and Blue Ravine Road
- Green Valley Road at Sophia Parkway
- E. Bidwell Street at Alder Creek Parkway
- Sibley Street, between Blue Ravine Road and Levy Road
Several residential roads and local trails are also closed due to residential flooding.
Residents can pick up sand and sandbags 24/7 at two self-serve City of Folsom locations. Proof of Folsom residency is required, such as a driver’s license or utility bill.
Shovels are also available to use onsite to fill the bags.
