Engineering team studying plansThank you for your interest in doing business with the City of Folsom! The City purchases and contracts for a wide variety of supplies, services, equipment, and expert assistance to provide our community with a full range of municipal services and programs.

Folsom Wants to Do Business with Local Companies and Vendors

The success of local businesses and vendors positively impacts Folsom’s economy as a whole, as well as the City’s ability to provide quality services and programs. The City strives to use Folsom vendors in purchasing services, and products when quality, service, and other factors are equal. The Folsom Municipal Code provides for a five percent price differential to local bidders in contracting.

Ashland Water Rehabilitation Project 1

The City of Folsom is soliciting qualified bid proposals for construction of the Ashland Water Rehabilitation Project 1.

The project is generally described as water distribution system repairs, rehabilitation, replacement, and new infrastructure to improve City of Folsom water system deficiencies. An existing water transmission line shall be rehabilitated along Folsom Auburn Boulevard and Greenback Lane to provide emergency water supply to the City.  Addition provisions for bypassing and isolation of the water system and SCADA monitoring of an existing PRV shall also be provided.
