Human Resources Director Allison Garcia joined the City of Folsom in 2021. She oversees recruitment, hiring, labor relations, and policy development at the city.

Allison brings more than 20 years of human resources experience to Folsom. She has worked in both the private and public sectors, including in higher education, sports and entertainment, and software development.

Allison holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration, with a concentration in management of human resources and organizational behavior from California State University, Sacramento. As a Bay Area transplant, Allison and her family have embraced Folsom’s amenities, including the city’s bike paths and lakes.
