Drinking alcohol or carrying open containers in public places is prohibited in the City of Folsom. An Alcoholic Beverage Permit is required to consume alcohol in parks and other public places. The permit is issued in accordance with Section 9.105.050 of the Folsom Municipal Code allowing the consumption of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with the temporary use and occupancy of public property or public areas.

Adults age 21+ may apply for an Alcoholic Beverage Permit Monday through Friday during regular hours of business at the Folsom Parks & Recreation registration counter located at 48 Natoma Street. Call 916-461-6601 for more information.
