The City of Folsom encourages residents and businesses to get involved in the community. 

• Volunteer at the citywide Community Service Day, held annually on the third Saturday of September.
• Participate in the Citizen's Assisting Public Safety (CAPS) Program.
• Help keep your community safe and participate in the City’s Business Watch and Neighborhood Watch.
• Join the City of Folsom’s Community Emergency Response Team.
• Volunteer at the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary.
• Support the Folsom Public Library and join the volunteer team.
• Join a City Commission or Committee.
• Stay up-to-date on City of Folsom news and information and connect with us on social media.
• Report issues in your community through our service request platform SeeClickFix.
• Contact your Folsom City Council members.
• Watch and participate in City Council meetings. City Council Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays each month at 6:30pm at City Hall, 50 Natoma Street. Watch meetings online or on Metro Cable Channel 14 at 9am on the Friday and Saturday of meeting weeks.
• Register to vote.
