Folsom Public Library Kickoff Event March 4 for State Parks Passes

As part of a statewide partnership between the California State Parks and California State Library, the Folsom Public Library will be hosting an educational talk for all ages on Saturday, March 4 at 1 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room. Join State Park Interpreter Nicole Barden for an all-ages friendly naturalist talk about the plants and animals found in our local State Parks.

This state-wide partnership provides local libraries with passes which allow free day-use for one vehicle at more than 200 participating state park units. 100 passes will be available year-round to check out from the Folsom Library for up to three weeks at a time. There are also group pass kits for clubs, scout troops, or extended families that have four passes bundled together.

For more information on the State Parks Passes visit the library webpage about the passes or call 916-461-6136.
