The Water Quality Division ensures that the drinking water produced by the Water Treatment Division is maintained in the City of Folsom’s 372 miles of water mains and to the approximately 22,000 water service connections through water quality monitoring and testing.

We also operate and maintain the city’s 14 water storage tanks, six booster pump stations, and approximately 3,800 fire hydrants. We perform water main flushing and maintain the cross-connection control program to ensure proper water quality within the city’s water distribution system.
