City Announces New and Improved Online Bill Payment Service

All Current AutoPay and Bank Draft Customers Must Re-enroll

Post Date:07/13/2021 12:56 p.m.

The City of Folsom today launched a new and improved electronic bill payment service for its utilities customers.

The online payment portal, operated by Invoice Cloud, makes it easier for customers to view and pay their bills with an expanded online bill payment portal.

Customers can now view and pay a bill online with a credit card, debit card, and e-check. Customers can also now make a payment by phone 24/7 through an automated payment line or take advantage of the Pay by Text option to receive text message notifications and conveniently pay with a text message.

The easy-to-use payment portal provides customers with quick access to their account to view bills, check their balance, and make payments with a credit or debit card or an electronic check.

The new site also features an “at a glance” dashboard, scheduling one-time or automatic payments, securely storing payment information, and receiving optional email and text reminders. Customers can sign up to receive notifications via email or text when a bill is ready to view, just before the due date, when a payment is late, and when a scheduled payment is pending.

All current AutoPay and bank draft customers must re-enroll in the new online payment portal.

Folsom utilities customers can enroll in paperless billing, register to pay online, and enroll in AutoPay at www.folsom.ca.us/NewBillPay. Customers can pay by phone by calling 916-461-6101, option 3. Payments can continue to be made by mail, through your bank’s bill pay service, and at City Hall in person or contactless through the red mail box.

“This new portal will provide a simple, streamlined, and secure bill pay experience that allows our customers to view and pay bills 24/7 online, by phone or by text,” said City of Folsom Director of Finance/CFO Stacey Tamagni. “We are excited to offer an improved online bill payment experience that offers the features our community has been requesting.”
