Firefighters from the Folsom Fire Department with assistance from Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District and the El Dorado Hills Fire Department responded to a structure fire in a residential home located on Ruan Court in Folsom.
Fire crews attacked the exterior fire, with the priority of limiting fire extension to neighboring properties from fire and radiant heat damage. Due to the extent of the fire damage upon arrival, and the compromised structural integrity of the home, crews were directed to attack the fire with multiple hose lines from the exterior as well as aerial master streams. 
There were no occupants in the structure. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. No injuries were reported.
