Folsom Fire was dispatched to an unknown type of fire at Black Miners Bar.  Folsom Police and State Park Officers arrived first and reported a large grass fire.  Additional units were immediately dispatched.  Crews arrived to find a half acre wildland fire with a moderate rate of spread near the beach area.   The fire was a mix of grass, brush, and trees.  Additional engines arrived and attacked the fire with hose lines.  The fire was contained within 30 minutes, and approximately two acres burned.   A crew from Cal Fire arrived to assist.  Crews remained on scene for six hours for extensive mop up of the burning vegetation in the fire perimeter.  No injuries were reported, and the cause is currently under investigation.
