Voting is Changing in Sacramento County

Beginning with the June 2018 Primary Election, Sacramento County will be one of five counties in California to implement the Voter's Choice Act. All registered voters will receive a ballot in the mail, and Vote Centers will be offered in place of traditional polling places. Vote Centers will be located in Folsom and throughout Sacramento County and open to all voters, offering more flexibility and additional opportunities to participate in the election process.

All registered voters will be mailed a ballot

Ballots will be mailed beginning May 7, 2018

Choose how to return your ballot

By mail, at a Ballot Drop Box, or at a Vote Center

Vote Centers will replace traditional polling places

Registered voters may select any Vote Center in the County
