The Folsom Public Library is working in partnership with the Folsom Cordova Unified School District to ensure all Folsom kindergarten students have a library card. The goal of the My First Library Card project is to inspire a love of reading and foster library access for all students in the community. Librarians from the Folsom Public Library are visiting every kindergarten class in Folsom. The program is funded by the Pacific Library Partnership Student Success Initiative grant.
