Many personal care services may now resume operations in Folsom. Sacramento County has an amended Public Health Order that allows for additional allowable activities, including:
- Nail salons
- Tattoo parlors
- Massage therapy
- Waxing
- Body art
- Piercing
A complete listing of allowable activities is outlined in Appendix B of the amended Public Health Order. Appendix A of the Order lists the required health and safety protocols intended to support a safe, clean environment for workers and customers. The Health Order also acknowledges the state's new guidance on face coverings. The Order supersedes previous orders and is in effect until it is rescinded or amended by the Sacramento County Health Officer.
The best defense against COVID-19 continues to be:
- Staying at home and physical distancing
- Wearing a face covering
- Washing hands frequently
- Avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
- Avoiding being around people with COVID-19 symptoms
