To assist local businesses, the City of Folsom offers temporary outdoor business permits. Hair salons, barbershops and personal care businesses wishing to use public or shared outdoor property must apply for a temporary outdoor business permit to use outdoor areas such as parking lots, sidewalks, or common areas. Personal care businesses located on standalone private property do not need a temporary outdoor business permit.
