New Fitness Program for Ages 50+

Cardio Sculpt: A Functional Approach to Exercising for Active Living provides a social environment for active agers to connect with others and become a part of an exercising community. Instructor Linda Faircloth leads the class with encouragement and individualized attention to help students maximize their potential in exercise and fitness. We welcome you and want you to feel part of the group. And no need to be shy or afraid of not being able to keep up. Can you walk, squat, and get on the floor, even though it may not be pretty? No worries! You’re encouraged to work at your own pace, and you’ll also be instructed on how to properly perform the various cardio drills, strength training exercises, and stretching. After these exercise classes, you can expect to feel better and have more energy; and you’ll become stronger as you progress.

Classes are held at the Folsom Senior Center, 48 Natoma Street, and are offered from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Participants are encouraged to attend 2 to 3 classes per week for maximum results. A variety of punch-pass card options are available – register online or call 916-461-6601 for more information.
