Join Christina Mason with the Agency on Aging \ Area 4 for this five-session Food Smarts series. The program offers a flexible nutrition and cooking curriculum for participants. Food Smarts includes instruction about how to interpret the information included in food labels, meal planning, food budgeting, and healthy cooking with fruits and vegetables.

The workshops will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Tuesdays at the Folsom Senior Center, 48 Natoma Street. There is no charge for ages 60+ to take part in this program, but preregistration is mandatory. Call 916-461-6601 with questions.
