From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 31, the City of Folsom Public Works Department will conduct subsurface investigative work as part of the American River Canyon Drive Surface Drainage project, requiring a full road closure in American River Canyon North. The closure will be in effect between Oak Avenue and the waterfall feature at the top of the hill.

The investigative work is crucial for the ongoing American River Canyon Drive Surface Drainage project, aimed at enhancing road safety and infrastructure.

The city has installed message signs to alert motorists about closures and detours.
