It's National Emergency Preparedness Month, and the Folsom Police Department encourages the community to be prepared and informed by signing up for Sacramento County Office of Emergency Services and City of Folsom emergency notifications through RAVE Smart911. Helpful tips as you sign up for alerts: 

• Providing your address or addresses of places you are in frequently (such as your work address) will help ensure that you receive messages that directly pertain to you and your family.

• RAVE Smart911 application can also be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. 

• RAVE Smart911 replaces Sacramento County's Everbridge notification service but doesn't replace City of Folsom notifications via Nixle. Please sign up for Nixle to ensure you receive all emergency and community notifications from the City of Folsom. Additional information about both programs can be found on the City of Folsom website.
