Engineering team studying plansThank you for your interest in doing business with the City of Folsom! The City purchases and contracts for a wide variety of supplies, services, equipment, and expert assistance to provide our community with a full range of municipal services and programs.

Folsom Wants to Do Business with Local Companies and Vendors

The success of local businesses and vendors positively impacts Folsom’s economy as a whole, as well as the City’s ability to provide quality services and programs. The City strives to use Folsom vendors in purchasing services, and products when quality, service, and other factors are equal. The Folsom Municipal Code provides for a five percent price differential to local bidders in contracting.

Prospector Park

This project is the construction of a new park, Prospector Park, in the Folsom Plan Area. Park size is approximately 10.5 acres. Park improvements include, but are not limited to, parking lot, concrete paths, children's play areas, restroom building, shade structures, multi-use fields, lighted ball field, lighted tennis courts, lighted basketball court, lighted sand volleyball courts, irrigation and planting.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held at the park site, 4578 Sparrow Drive, at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 16.
