Rodriguez was elected to the City Council in 2020 after serving on the Historic District Commission for three years. She serves as a board trustee for the Folsom Rotary Foundation. She previously served as a board member for the Folsom Chamber of Commerce, the Twin Lakes Food Bank, and the Folsom Economic Development Corporation. 

As a small business owner and former healthcare manager, Rosario understands that small businesses thrive with the support of the community and city government. In 2016, she launched a San Francisco-style taqueria in the Folsom Historic District, drawing on her background as a native of San Francisco.

Before launching her career as an entrepreneur, Rosario spent 24 years in healthcare management. She most recently worked for one of Sacramento’s largest healthcare systems. 

Rosario moved to Folsom in 2008. She was drawn to the unique qualities that make Folsom a great place to live and raise a family. She is a guardian to her 14-year-old grandson Antonio, who was ecstatic to start high school as a Folsom Bulldog. Rosario has been a member of Faith Baptist Church of Folsom prior to making Folsom her home. She is happy to report a German shepherd named Cody recently joined her family.
